CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Cambridge English Academy (CEA), an official preparation centre for Cambridge English Language Assessment, is looking for dedicated and qualified teachers to join our teaching staff at the Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau (Sabah) centres. We offer a wide range of courses, from Junior English for children as young as 4 years old to academic and professional English for working professionals.

All candidates must be able to commit to teaching a one-year course (approximately from Jan to mid November) but can join us at any time of the year. Candidates with relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., TKT, CELTA, Trinity TESOL or TEFL) and teaching experience are welcome to join us.

Successful candidates will be provided with the Scheme of Work and Lesson Plans based on the Cambridge English syllabus for the courses they will teach. They are expected to engage with students creatively, manage and organise their teaching-related administrative tasks effectively. They must also be able to function as part of a team, and independently when necessary.

    • Examine at least one exam session per year
    • Attend the annual face-to-face certification meetings and
    • Do their certification on the online Professional Support Network annually.
